President and CEO
Gio Cecere is the President and CEO of The InvoCare Group consisting of InvoSurg, InvoCirc and InvoSim. The three companies focus on perfusion product sales, distribution, perfusion services, program development, simulation, training and education, respectively. Gio has been a certified and licensed clinical perfusionist for 15 years and continues to practice in the clinical setting. Following his graduate work at Northeastern University, Gio started his career at Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston, MA. In 2002, Gio focused his efforts in the start-up medical device arena working in multiple roles for TransMedics Inc. During his time at TransMedics, Gio held multiple roles in fundraising, large animal research, product development, clinical trial execution and finally EU commercial launch of the Organ Care System, a revolutionary and paradigm shifting technology in the field of solid organ transplantation. In 2007, Gio was recruited to Medtronic Sales and in 2009, he and Steve Salvati started InvoSurg Inc, a privately held medical sales and distribution company based in the Boston area. In 2012, InvoCirc Inc. was developed with a focus to provide clinical perfusion services for the second largest hospital chain in New England. InvoCirc Inc. provides program development and perfusion services for over seven hundred annual cardiac surgical patients. In 2014, Gio expanded his efforts and created InvoSim Inc. Using a state of the art, high-fidelity perfusion simulator created by BioMed Simulation, InvoSim focuses on crisis management team training and perfusion technique enhancements. Gio’s most proud accomplishment however is his family. He is the proud father of four young children. He met his wife while completing his undergraduate work at Boston College and recently celebrated his 15th year wedding anniversary.
Vice President & Principal
Steve was born in Providence, RI, and has lived in the Northeast his entire life. He attended University of Rhode Island and graduated in 1984 with a degree in Geology and Computer Science. He started his career as a Sales Engineer at Astro-Med, Inc., a manufacturer of aerospace and medical products. He received multiple sales awards and was promoted to Territory Manager. Three years later he took a position with a new division of Dietek, Inc. as a District Manager, focusing on brain function and depth of anesthesia monitoring. From there he secured a position with Shiley Laboratories, a Pfizer company. As a Cardiopulmonary Sales executive, he was responsible for sales and training of cardiac products as well as the Stocket Heart Lung Machine. He was Rookie of the Year and led the company in cardiopulmonary and Stocket sales several times during his seven-year stay. Steve then took a sales position with a small startup company that had just entered the cardiopulmonary market. He was with Avecor, Inc. until it was purchased by Medtronic in 1998 and stayed with Medtronic until 2009. Steve achieved President’s Club both at Avecor and Medtronic as well as participating in multiple marketing and sales counsels. Then in 2009, he and Giovanni started Invosurg Inc. with the desire to offer a medical device distribution company that is focused on the needs of the customer. Besides working, Steve enjoys his home in Rhode Island with his wife, Pam, and their two children.
Senior Sales Representative, Greater New York
Scott has been with Invosurg for over 2 years after having spent over 25 years in the financial software sales world. He is passionate about perfusion and the cardiovascular space and prides himself in troubleshooting problems and quickly finding solutions for customers. Scott is a graduate of Lafayette College and lives in Hoboken, NJ with his wife Emily and their dog Thor (with baby daughter on the way).
Sales Representative, Greater New England
Steph is a sale representative for InvoSurg in the New England territory. Steph has a background as Certified Surgical Technologist and Surgical Assistant that began her career in 2007 in Southern New Hampshire at Catholic Medical Center. She specialized in cardiac surgery, as well as thoracic, vascular, and endovascular procedures. After becoming a valued leader of the clinical team, she took on the role of preceptor, making her responsible for educating and mentoring new members of the staff in advanced cardiac cases.
Her experience and background also helped in additional positions that extended beyond the operating room. She was a Vascular Tech/Assist for a Vein Clinic specializing in endovascular laser ablation treatments, as well as a Database Manager for the Society for Vascular Surgery.
Stephanie joined the InvoSurg team in 2014. She and her husband, Vincent, happily reside in Southern New Hampshire.
Sales Representative, Greater New York
A graduate of the University of Scranton, John is a young, dynamic and driven sales professional. Playing 4 years of collegiate soccer was a major contributor to John’s teamwork and competitiveness. John lives in Rockland County, New York. Prior to joining Invosurg, John was an Account Manager at Uline in the Northern New Jersey region.

Suzanna is an Associate Sales Representative and one of the newest team members at Invosurg. Prior to joining the team, Suzanna held various roles in veterinary medicine. Suzanna obtained a B.S. in Biology from her home town college, SUNY New Paltz. Shortly after graduation, Suzanna moved to New York City to explore other medical related career paths. Suzanna found herself driven to medical sales and became fascinated with cardiac surgery and perfusion technology. Suzanna’s positive attitude, passion, and eagerness to learn has lead her to her current role, and continues to push her further towards a successful and meaningful career in medical device sales.

Lindsey is a medical device professional previously with Baylis Medical as an account executive focusing on sales and clinical support of interventional cardiology products. Lindsey is a graduate of University of Massachusetts, with a degree in Microbiology and minor in Psychology. Lindsey is not only a driven sales professional, but also a passionate traveler. She has taken the journey to Malawi, Africa where she educated women about HIV/AIDS prevention and assisted physicians in treating malnourished children. She has traveled the majority of the United States, Caribbean, has lived in Canterbury, England for six months to study abroad and has backpacked through six different European countries. Her next destination is South America!
Sales Representative, EOM Territory
Jack is a recent college graduate from High Point University, in High Point, NC, with a B.S. in Business Administration with minors in Sales, Marketing, and International Business. Jack has been driven to medical device sales since entering college, and has gained the sales skills necessary to survive in this competitive market through his previous internships with Aramark and Dorado Systems. As President of his fraternity, Jack was able to interact with professionals outside of school, as well as develop invaluable leadership and management skills. Outside of work, Jack has developed a strong passion for travelling after studying abroad for 4 months in Salzburg, Austria as well as spending a month in Kenya and Tanzania.
Accountant & Business Administrator
Colleen Fitzgerald is a graduate of Keene State College with a BA in Spanish. Her love for the language brought her to study in Granada, Spain and Quito, Ecuador. Before joining the InvoSurg, Inc Team, Colleen held positions as a Spanish Teacher and a sales representative at Vista Higher Learning. Colleen lives in Littleton, MA with her husband and three children.
